NCVO’s Digital delivery manager had just been appointed Head of Digital and Tech with a mission to consolidate the team and design a digital strategy that would support NCVO’s Business strategy.

THE CHALLENGE


The team was split between Content and Web dev, with little understanding of each other’s areas and different ways of working. The infrastructure was over complex and created integration issues with the CRM, taking away a lot of time and efforts spent on fixes rather than forward thinking and development, and making it difficult to prioritise new work.

THE SOLUTION


We supported by providing clear frameworks to co-design the strategy, operational plans and new ways of working. Our work got very hands-on as we helped design membership focussed areas of the website and provided expertise guidance on rationalising the tech infrastructure. As a result, team motivation increased, as well as their status in the Organisation, our client embraced her new Senior leadership position and adopted our strategic and operational frameworks, which received the praises of the Senior Leadership team.
